Lionel Hollins leads the rumor mill to become Detroit Pistons head coach, and while he said he and the team have not been in contact since Maurice Cheeks was fired Sunday, he did acknowledge interest in the job on SiriusXM NBA Radio today.
"They have an intriguing team with some of the young big guys that they have. So I would definitely be interested in talking to them," Hollins said.
Hollins coached the Memphis Grizzlies to last year's Western Conference Finals but the two sides could not reach agreement to keep him there.
