Five-star senior shooting guard Rashad Vaughn (Henderson, Nev./Findlay Prep), the No. 18 player in the ESPN 100, committed to UNLV over Iowa State, North Carolina, Kansas and Kentucky on Tuesday.
"I fit in very well, and I loved the blueprint Coach [Dave] Rice has in place for me," said Vaughn, a McDonald's All-American and prolific scorer who can get points off the drive or beyond the 3-point arc.
Vaughn becomes the third ESPN 100 prospect to join UNLV's 2014 class after center Goodluck Okonoboh and forward Dwayne Morgan.
