The Philadelphia 76ers' Michael Carter-Williams and the Utah Jazz's Trey Burke were named the Kia NBA Eastern and Western Conference Rookies of the Month, respectively, for games played in January.
Carter-Williams led all rookies in scoring (16.5 ppg) and ranked second in rebounds (5.6 rpg), assists (5.6 apg) and minutes (33.3 mpg) during January.
Burke led all rookies in assists (6.8 apg), and ranked third in scoring (11.8 ppg) and minutes (31.5 mpg) during January.
Other nominees for the Eastern and Western Conference Rookies of the Month were Atlanta's Pero Antic, Los Angeles Lakers' Ryan Kelly, Orlando's Victor Oladipo and New York's Tim Hardaway Jr.
