Hawks' Antic to miss 2-4 weeks with ankle fracture

Atlanta Hawks announced Thursday that forward/center Pero Antic has a stress fracture to his right ankle and is expected to miss two-to-four weeks.

Antic suffered a mild right ankle sprain against the Brooklyn Nets in London on Jan. 16 but X-rays taken following the game were negative and he continued to play without missing games.

An MRI and examination by Dr. Ashok Reddy at Peachtree Orthopaedics in Atlanta revealed the fracture and he will now be placed in a protective walking boot. The 31-year-old rookie is averaging 5.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 15.6 minutes in 29 games.
