Kobe Bryant says he won't play in 2016 Olympics

Lakers star Kobe Bryant told reporters Monday he will definitely not play in the 2016 Olympics for Team USA in Rio despite Team USA assistant and Chicago Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau trying to recruit him.

Bryant, who is recovering from a fractured tibia he suffered only weeks after returning from an Achilles tear, earned two gold medals with Team USA for his work during the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Games, averaging 15 points in the former and 12.1 in the latter.
