Veteran point guard Beno Udrih has requested a trade from the Knicks, a source confirmed Monday night to the Daily News.
The source said both sides agree that Udrih’s tenure in New York “is not working,” and that the Knicks have agreed to attempt to accommodate his desire to be moved.
The 31-year-old Slovenian signed with the Knicks for the veteran minimum of $1.27 million over the summer, but he only has received significant minutes this season when either Raymond Felton or Pablo Prigioni has been sidelined by injury.
