The Los Angeles Clippers have signed free agent forward Hedo Turkoglu for the rest of the season. In additional roster moves, the Clippers have re-signed guard Darius Morris to a second 10-day contract and released guard Maalik Wayns.
Turkoglu, 34, has appeared in 897 career games (569 starts) with Orlando, Phoenix, Toronto, San Antonio and Sacramento. A 13-year NBA veteran, Turkoglu owns career averages of 11.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 28.5 minutes per game.
Morris signs his second 10-day contract with the Clippers after originally signing with the club on Jan. 6. The Los Angeles native has appeared in three games with the Clippers, averaging 1.0 point and 0.3 assists in 6.8 minutes per game.
Wayns was in his second stint with the Clippers this season and appeared in two games.
