The Knicks got a chuckle over an ESPN.com report that they would consider trading Carmelo Anthony for power forward Blake Griffin, or even have a serious internal discussion about it.
The report was also rejected by Clippers coach Doc Rivers before Saturday night’s game against the Spurs, according to another ESPN.com report.
Asked about the possibility of such a trade, Rivers said, “Please, this is stupid.”
