The Miami Heat's Chris Bosh and the Oklahoma City Thunder's Kevin Durant were named NBA Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, Dec. 23, through Sunday, Dec. 29.
Bosh helped Miami to a 3-1 week. He averaged 22.3 points, 8.0 rebounds (tied for 10th in the conference), 1.75 blocks and 1.25 steals.
Durant led the Thunder to a 3-0 week behind a league-best 32.0 points on .574 shooting from the field, 10.7 rebounds (10th in the conference) and 5.7 assists.
Other nominees for the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week were Golden State's Stephen Curry, Los Angeles Clippers' Blake Griffin and Chris Paul, Memphis' Zach Randolph, Miami's LeBron James, Minnesota's Kevin Love, Orlando's Arron Afflalo, Phoenix's Miles Plumlee and Toronto's Kyle Lowry.
