The Bucks' last three defeats have come in overtime, with the latest a 111-110 heartbreaker to the Charlotte Bobcats on Monday night at Time Warner Cable Arena.
Khris Middleton narrowly missed putting the Bucks ahead when his 19-foot jumper bounced out in the final seconds of overtime.
After two free throws by Bobcats guard Kemba Walker gave Charlotte a 111-108 lead, the Bucks had 1.6 seconds left. Coach Larry Drew designed a play with Middleton getting free in the corner and taking a cross-court inbounds pass from Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Middleton drilled the shot, but a video review showed his foot was on the three-point line, and the Bucks (6-22) fell one point short.
Center Al Jefferson paced Charlotte with 26 points and Walker narrowly missed a triple-double, posting 25 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds.
