The NBA fined New York Knicks head coach Mike Woodson $25,000 for public criticism of the officiating during a radio interview, the league announced.
Woodson appeared on ESPN Radio on Nov. 21 and complained that other star players receive better treatment from the league’s officials than Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony.
“Absolutely. And I’m not going to shy away from that, either. I think Melo gets hit more than ever,” Woodson said.
