Chris Jones spearheaded a much-needed second-half run that turned a surprisingly close game into a 97-69 rout in front of 20,112 fans in the KFC Yum! Center.
Jones, a diminutive but strong guard, finished with 20 points, seven assists, four steals and no turnovers. Senior backcourt partner Russ Smith had 30 points, five assists, two steals and one turnover.
