Miami freshman guard Deandre Burnett will miss the season after suffering a wrist injury last week in practice, the school announced last week.
The The 6-foot-2 guard will redshirt and have four years of eligibility remaining beginning during the 2014-15 season.
The loss of Burnett is a big one for the rebuilding Hurricanes.
