Miami Heat guard Mario Chalmers was fined $15,000 by the NBA for hitting Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin in the throat with a forearm, NBA President of Basketball Operations Rod Thorn announced Friday.
The foul on Chalmers has been upgraded by the league office to a Flagrant Foul 2.
