Daishon Knight has been reinstated to the Illinois State Redbirds after pleading guilty Thursday to punching a woman and resisting arrest.
The Pantagraph newspaper in Bloomington reports that Knight pleaded guilty Thursday to misdemeanor battery and resisting arrest in an Aug. 25 incident.
Knight, a junior from Baltimore, was sentenced to 24 months conditional discharge and 100 hours community service.
