When Brett Brown signed a four-year contract in mid-August to become coach of the rebuilding Sixers, he had an idea what the job would entail.
After one month of training camp and preseason, and on the eve of the season opener against the two-time defending champion Heat, Brown admits "the challenge is harder than I thought."
The Sixers are young and don't have a star. In fact, Brown told reporters last week they "have six NBA players and a bunch of guys fighting for spots" on their roster.
