Minutes before the Heat faced off against the Bulls to open the 2013-14 season, the two-time defending champions were honored with a presentation of their championship rings by commissioner David Stern.
After the Heat’s executives and coaches received their rings, the presentation halted for a three-dimensional video display that included highlights from Miami’s comeback in Game 6 and their close-out victory in Game 7.
Following the video presentation, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and company received their rings from Stern and shook hands with owner Micky Arison. Miami then raised its 2013 championship banner to the arena’s rafters.
