The deadline for first-round picks from the 2010 draft class to receive contract extensions is Oct. 31, and the Kings still have two players eligible for new deals, Greivis Vasquez and Patrick Patterson.
Vasquez and Patterson are eligible for contract extensions that would begin with the 2014-15 season and could sign for as many as five years.
"We're still looking at things and evaluating before making a decision," said general manager Pete D'Alessandro. "… I think there's some spirited conversations going on about all the guys near the deadline."
