Heat rally past Warriors for first win of preseason
Chris Bosh scored 21 points and Luol Deng and Shawne Williams added 19 each to help the Miami Heat win their first game in the preseason with a 115-108 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Friday night.
Trailing 103-102 with 5:16 left, Mario Chalmers hit a 3-pointer to give the Heat (1-4) a lead. Shabazz Napier added a 3-pointer 30 seconds later to extend the lead. Klay Thompson scored 27 points to lead the Warriors.
Clippers 101 Jazz 97
Chris Paul and Jamal Crawford hit clutch 3-pointers in the final minute and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Utah Jazz for their first victory of the preseason.
Crawford finished with 25 points and Spencer Hawes added 24. Gordon Hayward scored 22 points to lead Utah (4-1).
Magic 99 Pistons 87
Tobias Harris had 22 points and nine rebounds, Nik Vucevic added 18 points and the Orlando Magic defeated the Detroit Pistons 99-87.
The Magic never trailed and built a 19-point, first-half lead. Greg Monroe led Detroit with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
Raptors 109 Thunder 90
Terrence Ross scored 22 points in the first three quarters to help the Toronto Raptors beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 109-90 on Friday night.
Russell Westbrook led Oklahoma City (2-3) with 16 points on 5-of-15 shooting. Anthony Morrow and Andre Roberson each had 15.
