20 teams trim their rosters, 42 players waived
This Saturday was the day many teams chose to announce players waived in order to trim their rosters to the maximum of 15 players allowed by the league during regular season.
Here’s the full list of waived players officially announced Saturday (number of players now in team's roster in parenthesis):
- Brooklyn Nets (15): Casper Ware.
- Cleveland Cavaliers (15): Shane Edwards.
- Dallas Mavericks (15): Bernard James, Ivan Johnson and Doron Lamb.
- Houston Rockets (19): Geron Johnson.
- Indiana Pacers (15): C.J. Fair, Arinze Onuaku, Chris Singleton and Adonis Thomas.
- Los Angeles Clippers (15): Joe Ingles.
- Los Angeles Lakers (15): Jabari Brown and Roscoe Smith.
- Memphis Grizzlies (14): Patrick Christopher and Kalin Lucas.
- Miami Heat (15): Khem Birch, Larry Drew II, Tyler Johnson and Shawn Jones.
- Minnesota Timberwolves (16): Brady Heislip.
- New York Knicks (16): Langston Galloway and Jordan Vandenberg.
- Orlando Magic (15): Kadeem Batts, Drew Crawford, Seth Curry and Peyton Siva.
- Philadelphia 76ers (17): Malcolm Lee, Ronald Roberts Jr. and Drew Gordon.
- Phoenix Suns (15): Earl Barron.
