Harden leads Rockets' rally over Mavericks
James Harden scored 32 points, including five down the stretch, to help the Houston Rockets rally for a 95-92 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night.
Houston, playing without Dwight Howard (knee injury), ended its two-game skid and snapped the Mavericks' six-game winning streak.
Monta Ellis led the Mavericks with 17 points and Brandan Wright had 14 points and 11 rebounds.
76ers 83 Knicks 91
Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points, Amare Stoudemire added 16 points and 11 rebounds, and the Knicks dropped the 76ers to 0-13 with a 91-83 victory.
Jose Calderon made his season debut for the Knicks (4-10), who had lost consecutive games but jumped out to a big early lead and had an easy time against a team that was every bit as bad as its record for most of the game.
Nerlens Noel had the best night of his young career with season highs of 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Kings 113 Timberwolves 101
DeMarcus Cousins had 31 points and 18 rebounds to power the Sacramento Kings to a 113-101 victory over the short-handed Minnesota Timberwolves.
Cousins hit 11 of 15 shots and Ben McLemore had 22 points and nine rebounds to help the Kings overcome a sluggish start and improve to an eye-opening 8-5.
Andrew Wiggins scored a career-high 29 points and had four steals for the Timberwolves, who were missing four starters and playing the second night of a back-to-back.
