Rockets pull away from Heat, improve to 5-0
James Harden was one rebound away from a triple-double, Dwight Howard scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, and the Rockets stayed unbeaten by beating the Miami Heat 108-91 on Tuesday night.
Harden finished with 25 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds for Houston, which has won all five of its games -- four on the road -- by double digits. Trevor Ariza added 19 points for the Rockets, who used a 13-0 run late in the fourth quarter to pull away.
Chris Bosh scored 21 points for Miami (3-1) and Dwyane Wade added 19 for the Heat.
Wizards 98 Knicks 83
Paul Pierce and Garrett Temple each scored 17 points, and the Wizards beat the Knicks for the fourth straight time.
Washington broke open the game with a 14-0 run in the third quarter, when it outscored New York 32-15.
Iman Shumpert had 19 points for the Knicks (2-2), who had won their last two games.

Brandon Knight had 23 points and seven rebounds, making a key jumper with 22 seconds left, as the Bucks beat the Pacers to snap a 16-game road losing streak.
Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 11 points for the Bucks, who hadn't won on the road since February and were eight away from matching the longest road skid in franchise history, set in 1992.
The Pacers shot 39.7 percent while playing without starters George Hill (bruised left knee), David West (sprained right ankle) and Paul George (fractured leg).

DeMar DeRozan scored 16 points, Patrick Patterson had 14 and the Toronto Raptors beat the depleted Thunder on Tuesday night.
The Thunder (1-4) are off to their worst start since going 1-15 to begin the 2008-09 season.
Serge Ibaka had 25 points and 11 rebounds for a short-handed Oklahoma City team playing the second game of a back-to-back. The Thunder began the game with eight active players and finished with six.
