Jazz stun Knicks on Burke's game winner
Trey Burke made a jumper from the corner as time expired, giving the Utah Jazz a 102-100 victory Friday night over the New York Knicks, who got an NBA season-high 46 points from Carmelo Anthony.
The Knicks lost their seventh straight game.
Gordon Hayward scored a season-high 33 points for the Jazz, and Derrick Favors added 21 points and 12 rebounds.
Pablo Prigioni scored 13 points for the Knicks, who lost Iman Shumpert to a bruised right hip in the opening minute of the game.
76ers 87 Rockets 88
The Houston Rockets were still feeling the effects of their Wednesday game in Mexico City but they did just enough to pull out an 88-87 victory over the winless Philadelphia 76ers.
James Harden scored 35 points, including an off-balance layup with 9 seconds left, to lead Houston to the win. He made 14 of 16 free throws.
Dwight Howard scored 21 points with 16 rebounds and seven blocks and Trevor Ariza had 13 points for the Rockets.
Tony Wroten scored 19 for the Sixers, who led for most of the game after an embarrassing 53-point loss to Dallas on Thursday night.
Timberwolves 91 Pelicans 139
The Pelicans broke a slew of franchise records in a 139-91 victory over the reeling Minnesota Timberwolves.
New Orleans' point total, 56 made field goals, 66.7 percent shooting and 48-point margin of victory all set new franchise records for a game.
Jrue Holiday missed just one of 10 shots he took while scoring 24 points and Anthony Davis added 22 points in 27 minutes.
Andrew Wiggins scored 20 points and Corey Brewer 18 for Minnesota, which lost its fourth straight.
