Grizzlies forward Randolph honored for community work
Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph has won the NBA's community assist award for November for his work in the community. The NBA announced the honor Wednesday.
He handed out 900 food baskets at two local high schools before Thanksgiving along with tickets from the forward for an upcoming Grizzlies' game.
He also donated 500 turkeys and 500 hams to be given away at a community center in Marion, Ind., in his hometown, and he gave 300 winter coats to students at a Memphis elementary school.
