Providence guard Dunn out for season
Standout Providence sophomore guard Kris Dunn is done for the season. Surgery will be required on his right shoulder, which has been a lingering issue for weeks now, following the injury during an exhibition game at the start of November.
The news was broken Wednesday via a school announcement.
Dunn played four games this season, averaging 5.0 assists, 3.8 points and 2.5 rebounds. Providence is 8-2 and hosts Yale on Dec. 17.
