Rockets' Sam Dekker out 3-4 weeks with broken hand

Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced Monday that forward Sam Dekker underwent surgery to repair a fractured left hand.

Dr. Matthew Koepplinger of Memorial Hermann performed the surgery and will re-evaluate Dekker in approximately one week.

The initial diagnosis after X-rays were taken in Phoenix was that he would be out for three to four weeks.
