The NBA Development League announced Tuesday afternoon that Cavs center Edy Tavares is the 2016-17 NBA Development League Defensive Player of the Year.
The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed Dahntay Jones and Edy Tavares. Jones last played for the Cavaliers in 2015-16 and Tavares has spent season in the NBADL.
