Mel Daniels, who led the ABA Indiana Pacers during the franchise’s heavenly days as a two-time Most Valuable Player, has died. He was 71.
Chuck DeVoe, part of a group of businessmen who founded the Indiana Pacers, died Saturday at age 83. DeVoe was the team's president from 1968-74.
