Bulls won't give Carter-Williams qualifying offer
The Chicago Bulls will not submit a qualifying offer to guard Michael Carter-Williams and he will become a free agent, executive vice president John Paxson confirmed.
Carter-Williams, 25, was the Rookie of the Year for the Philadelphia 76ers in 2013-14 but had failed to live up to that early potential.
Carter-Williams played just 45 games for the Bulls averaging 6.6 points and 2.5 assists, well below his career averages of 13.0 and 5.4.
