Spurs' Tony Parker has surgery on ruptured quad tendon
Earlier today Spurs guard Tony Parker underwent a successful surgery to repair a ruptured left quadriceps tendon.
The procedure was performed in San Antonio by Spurs team physician Dr. David R. Schmidt.
The injury occurred at the 8:52 mark of the fourth quarter of the Spurs-Rockets game on May 3.
A timeline for Parker’s return will be determined at a later date.
