Kings forward Rudy Gay ruptured Achilles, out for season
Results of an MRI performed today at Kaiser Permanente confirmed that Kings forward Rudy Gay suffered a full rupture of the left Achilles tendon during third quarter play of last night’s game versus the Indiana Pacers
Surgery to repair the injury will be scheduled in the coming days. He is out for the season.
Gay is the second-leading scorer for the Kings, averaging 18.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
