Dante Cunningham out 4 to 6 weeks with fibula fracture injury
The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that forward Dante Cunningham has been diagnosed with a non-displaced right proximal fibula fracture and is expected to miss 4-6 weeks.
The injury occurred in the second quarter of Wednesday night’s win over Minnesota at the Smoothie King Center.
Cunningham, 6 feet 8, 230 pounds, has appeared in 15 games (10 starts) for New Orleans this season, averaging 5.6 points while shooting .410 from three-point range, and 3.9 rebounds in 23.5 minutes per game.
