Luis Scola agrees to 1-year deal with Nets

Free-agent forward Luis Scola has agreed to a one-year deal with the Brooklyn Nets.

Scola, 36, is the fifth free agent with whom the Nets have reached a commitment in July.

Scola gives Brooklyn an experienced presence in the frontcourt, a power forward with a history of shot-making and playmaking.
