Caron Butler exercises $1.5M player option with Kings

Veteran forward Caron Butler has exercised his $1.5 million player option for the 16-17 season with the Sacramento Kings.

The Kings unsuccessfully attempted to trade away Butler midseason with the Milwaukee Bucks considered the most likely option at the time.
