Pelicans sign James Ennis for the remainder of the season
The New Orleans Pelicans announced Saturday that the team has signed forward James Ennis for the remainder of the 2015-16 season. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Ennis, 6-7, 201, was originally signed by New Orleans on March 30. In six games (two starts), Ennis has averaged 11.3 points, while shooting .440 from three-point range, 3.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per contest.
Prior to joining the Pelicans, Ennis most recently played for the Iowa Energy of the NBA Development League, appearing in 24 games this season, averaging 18.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.0 steals in 33.3 minutes per contest.
