Curry scores 44 as perfect Warriors beat Raptors
Stephen Curry scored 44 points, including 15 in a seven-minute span after Toronto took its first fourth-quarter lead, and willed the Warriors on Saturday to a 112-109 victory — their record-extending 21st straight win to open the season.
The Warriors withstood one of their toughest challenges of the season, playing without center Andrew Bogut (back spasms) and forward Harrison Barnes (sprained left ankle) and facing a tough Toronto squad that took a 96-95 lead on a Kyle Lowry reverse layup in the final five minutes.
