Warriors rout Lakers to go to 16-0, set NBA mark for best-ever start
Confetti fell in Oracle Arena after the Warriors improved to 16-0 with an exclamation-point 111-77 win Tuesday that broke the record for the best start in NBA history previously held by the 1948-49 Washington Capitols and 1993-94 Houston Rockets.
"There most likely will come a time when we take a loss and have to deal with the emotions of that," said Stephen Curry, who scored a game-high 24 points against the Lakers.
The record-setting victory against the Lakers came in such dominant fashion that Warriors starters spent the entire fourth quarter savoring it while sitting on the bench.
