Raptors silence Thunder to set franchise record
Out-scoring the Oklahoma City Thunder 12-1 over the final 2 ½ minutes, the Raptors pulled away for a 103-98 victory that ran their season-opening franchise-best winning streak to five games.
The difference in the game, ultimately, came at the free throw line and once again underscored the difference in attitudes between the teams.
Oklahoma City shot 48 per cent from the field and barely got to the rim, going just 12 for 14 from the line; the Raptors could barely make a jumper but were 32 for 39 from the free throw line and DeMar DeRozan shot more free throws (15) than the entire Thunder team did.
