Spurs sign former BYU star guard Fredette
The San Antonio Spurs Wednesday announced that they have signed guard Jimmer Fredette. Per club policy, terms of the contract were not announced.
Fredette, 6-2/195, spent last season playing for the New Orleans Pelicans. He appeared in 50 games, averaging 3.6 points and 1.4 assists in 10.2 minutes.
A four-year NBA veteran, Fredette was originally drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks with the 10th overall pick in the first round of the 2011 NBA Draft.
