VCU's Mo Alie-Cox charged with assault for allegedly punching woman
Virginia Commonwealth forward Mo Alie-Cox has been charged with misdemeanor assault and battery for incidents at a nightclub in Richmond, Va., on April 3.
Cox was charged April 30 for allegedly punching a woman, according to court documents. In the criminal complaint document, the alleged victim claims that she walked by a group of men and a woman before a verbal altercation began at the nightclub.
After being shoved, the alleged victim said she accidentally grabbed the hair of the woman in the group. In response, she said Alie-Cox "punched" her in the face.
