NBA suspends Antetokounmpo for 1 game
Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has been suspended one game without pay for running over Chicago Bulls forward Mike Dunleavy, the NBA announced today.
The incident, which resulted in a Flagrant Foul 2 and ejection for Antetokounmpo, occurred with 1:34 remaining in the second quarter of Milwaukee's 120-66 loss to the Bulls on Thursday, April 30, at Bradley Center. In addition, Dunleavy's contact, at 11.05 of the 1st period, to the jaw of Michael Carter-Williams has been upgraded to a Flagrant Foul 1.
Antetokounmpo will be suspended for the first game of the 2015-16 NBA regular season for which he is eligible and physically able to play.
