UAB inks coach Haase to 6-year contract extension

The University of Alabama at Birmingham has announced a six-year contract extension for men's basketball coach Jerod Haase.

The extension comes on the heels of UAB's upset victory over No. 3 Iowa State last week in the NCAA tournament. The contract will pay Haase $1 million per year.
