Former NBA center Jack Haley dies at 51
The Orange County (Calif.) Sheriff's Department web site confirmed the death of former UCLA and NBA forward Jack Haley.
According to the county coroner, Haley, 51, died at a local hospital. There were no indications of foul play and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
Haley played nine seasons for four NBA teams: the Bulls, Spurs, Nets and Lakers. He played his final season in the NBA in 1997-98 with the Nets.
His most productive season was with the 1990-91 Nets when he averaged 5.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.
