Kentucky runs the table as No. 1 AP poll
Kentucky, the overall No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament, is the first team since Duke in 1991-92 to hold the No. 1 spot in the AP poll for the entire season.
No. 2 now belongs to Villanova, which is riding a 15-game winning streak into the big dance. The Wildcats (32-2) won the Big East tournament this past Saturday by demolishing Xavier 69-52 in the championship game.
