Hornets point guard Kemba Walker aims to return next week

Charlotte Hornets scoring leader Kemba Walker has been cleared to resume all basketball activities, moving him closer to a return from left knee surgery.

Walker said Wednesday that he hopes he can play sometime next week during the Hornets' three-game homestand.

Walker had surgery Jan. 28 in New York to repair a torn lateral meniscus and the Hornets said at the time he was expected to miss at least six weeks.
