Celtics' Evan Turner finally hits triple-double
The active nature of Evan Turner’s game, coupled with his multiple skills, has led to a lot of near-misses on triple doubles over his five-season career.
But the Celtics swingman finally turned the corner last night as he posted 10 points, 10 assists and 12 rebounds during the C’s 115-94 win over New York.
Turner finally moved over the top by assisting on a Marcus Smart layup in the fourth quarter, with a decent amount of pressure attached. “Smart told me I needed one more assist, and so I said OK, make the shot, and he said you know I will. Ironically, he made the shot,” said Turner.
