Henry Walker, formerly Bill Walker, joins Heat on 10-day
The Miami Heat's short-term answer for a roster depleted by Thursday's trade and players out of uniform is the addition of D-League forward Henry Walker.
Heat coach Erik Spoelstra confirmed Friday that Walker, who previously played in the NBA under the name Bill Walker, has been called up on a 10-day contract from the Heat's NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce.
Walker, a 6-foot-6 forward who played in the NBA from 2008 to 2012 with the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks, was a 2008 second-round NBA Draft pick out of Kansas State by the Washington Wizards.
