LaMarcus Aldridge says surgery can wait, will play with ligament tear
Two days after announcing he would miss six to eight weeks with a torn thumb ligament, Portland Trail Blazers All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge said he will put off surgery and play through the injury.
The Blazers announced this morning that Aldridge will be in the lineup tonight when the Blazers face Washington at the Moda Center.
Aldridge tore his radial collateral ligament on the outside of his left thumb during Monday's win over Sacramento. That is his non-shooting hand.
