David Lee says he’s cleared to extend his minutes played
A day after David Lee scored a season-high 13 points while logging a season-best 25 minutes against Philadelphia, the Warriors’ power forward ecstatically proclaimed Wednesday that his minutes limit has been lifted.
The two-time All-Star played only 6:45 in the team’s first 25 games but has averaged 10.4 points and 48.8 percent shooting to go with 5.6 rebounds in 18.9 minutes since returning from a severely strained left hamstring five games ago.
Lee still isn’t 100 percent healthy, but he’s starting to get more confident in his leg.
