Beal's shot at buzzer lifts Wizards past Magic
Bradley Beal converted a lob pass at the buzzer to lift the Wizards to a 91-89 victory over the Magic on Wednesday night.
John Wall led the Wizards with 21 points and 11 assists and Nene scored 12 points for the Wizards, who got at least one assist from eight of the 10 players who appeared in the game.
Victor Oladipo scored 17 points and Tobias Harris had 15 to lead the Magic, who were coming off road wins at Utah and Sacramento.
Celtics 87 Hornets 96
Al Jefferson scored 11 of his game-high 23 points and the Charlotte Hornets held off a late rally for a 96-87 victory.
Kemba Walker added 18 points and Lance Stephenson 13 for Charlotte, which led by as many as 12 points in the third quarter and were up 87-79 with 8:05 left.
Rajon Rondo had a triple-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists for the Celtics. Jeff Green and Marcus Thornton led Boston with 16 points each.
Clippers 103 Pacers 96
The Clippers blew a 15-point, first-half lead and nearly gave away a 20-point lead in the final 14 minutes before hanging on for their ninth straight win.
Jamal Crawford scored 18 points, including a critical 20-foot, off-balance jumper with 1:50 to go that made it a two-possession game. Blake Griffin had 17 points, including a key free throw during the final stretch, and added 10 rebounds and five assists.
C.J. Miles scored a season high 30 points, Lavoy Allen had 14 points and 13 rebounds, and Luis Scola had 12 points and 14 rebounds for the Pacers.
